Should i buy products for dry skin or oily skin?

in last question asking whether or have dry or oily skin. have dry skin in parts forehead , below eyes , on nose, not around it. have oily skin around nose , under lips. what's more strange parts dry, feel have oil on them. if sandpaper had oil poured on it. everywhere else sort of normal. should lets say, makeup or facial cleansing products oily skin or dry skin, since kind of in between?
