How can I track my father's ancestry through DNA testing if I am a girl?

anna if wouldn't tell father's specific ancestors are. if find brother or male cousin on father's side shares same male ancestors father take test. there surname projects , have put on project , see if has complete matches. type of testing not useful unless traditional family research documents/records.

using autosomal dna overall ancestral testing. autosomal not exact y & mitochondrial. not go in straight line unchanged. of dna , determines among other things such pigmentation, bone structure, facial features, etc. 50-50 both parents not 25% each of 4 grandparents. reason why inherited can biased between grandmother , grandfather on both sides of family because when parents passed on autosomal received parents randomly jumbled , went through process of recombination. how person inherits bias not how siblings inherited it. problem type of testing has been reported if person has autosomal tested more 1 company different results. no doubt reason why have match population samples have. don't have same population samples. 1 might not have or might deficient in population groups other 1 isn't , vice versa. there no haplogroups autosomal.
