What is el nino, i will like to know what happens etc.?


el nino occurs when tradewinds weakened. el nino name warm surface waters in equatorial eastern pacific. normally, tradewinds blow warm water western pacific. when tradewinds weaken, warm water remains in eastern pacific. happens , prevents upwelling of nutrients surface waters. el nino inhibits upwelling, impacts organisms live @ surface. when plankton limited, rest of food chain, including fishing industry. el nino causes depression of life in eastern pacific's equatorial waters.
