What grade of octane should I put in my 1970 Malibu?


brother has 1970 chevelle malibu 454 (his first car) in dad's garage , said have 5k. have money thing said takes high octane , changed in engine many times can't change anymore take regular fuel. now, i'm not sure if want buy , have buy expensive *** gasoline if it's going 8 mph. there anyway able make can take 91 octane gas? or go ahead , and put 87 octane? hurt engine? thanks.

i've started collecting vinyl records. have 40 right asked more christmas. want shelf or can put them on.
