Would a flare gun be good for self defense?


growing up, friend "accidentally" shot off flare gun in room. carpet singed over, , there huge burn mark flare landed.

fair, if unarmed assailant broke house wouldn't want shot flare gun. shot square face cause serious burns , potential loss of vision if hit in eye(s).

however, if recall flare gun shoots flare rather slowly, giving person time dodge or shield shot. quite bright too, setting 1 off in closed area possibly "stun" vision briefly.

basically, if thats got might want invest in plan b well.

I'm starting to collect records. What should I store them in?

i've started collecting vinyl records. have 40 right asked more christmas. want shelf or can put them on.
