How to wire a headphone jack to stereo speakers?


sorry, can not drive speakers using headphone jack. question confusing, imply want drive more speakers headphone jack mention using headphones. need update , reword question make more clear.

question isn't helping either think figured out. want install headphone jack on 1 of speakers can plug headphones speaker. yes, done not , there no reason involve speaker. first, need both left , right channel headphones , each speaker has 1 or other. better solution separate box have both left/right speaker wires connected it. have headphone jack , left/right speaker connection connect 2 speakers. when connect headphones switch off speakers , attenuate level more appropriate headphones. engineer relatively simple task it's not should try build on own if have come here ask if it's possible. @ least need few basic electronics courses behind first. buy speaker selector box... http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/di... more need since don't need connect many speakers accomplish want.
