I'm Needed (A Poem)?

don't know why write sad things write.
or lies tell myself.
tears play part,
in emotional rut call life.
brings me down,
low feel rooted ground.
it's more paralyzing
when answers out of reach,
mocking me softly.

inner being wants give up,
start somewhere else,
or start on again.
but, can't.
that's life when , bad hand in hand.

ask myself,
"why sorrow? why dwell on things can't change?"
it's hard accept way am.
i'm high maintenance.
i'm attention seeker.

stop myself take deep breath,
, let out pain has knotted up,
deep within depths of heart.
when feel best,
when i'll okay,
, when i've told myself not give up.
life can make think weirdest things,
saddest thoughts,
, heart wrenching feelings.

know i'm alive reason.
i'm alive because want be,
, many people need me in life.
, i'm breathing because need myself.

cycle keep going life keeps running.
challenge accepted because i'm not afraid run it.
if knocks me down or leaves me in dust,
right @ it's heels.
can't give up.
i'm needed.
