Is Bulgaria like the Canada of Europe?


i'm sure find superficial similarities, overall canada , bulgaria 2 seperate countries. speak different languages, have different customs, have different political systems, different currency, different economies, etc etc.

guess 1 obvious simililarity have pointed out many americans don't know either. then, many americans don't know outside of borders.

i ask because don't hear bulgaria , know people don't talk canada much... correct in comparison?
