Is it a good idea to study acting?


acting difficult career choose
- give few statistics, typically, fully-trained actor has graduated top drama school degree in acting, , years of stage experience, other skills such singing , dancing, couple of foreign languages spoken , several accents mastered, can expect maybe 2 or 3 weeks' paid acting work year.

out of every 100 auditions he/she applies for, he/she might invited attend 1 or 2.
, out of every 100 auditions he/she gets attend, he/she lucky win 1 or 2 small roles, lasting day or only. more unusual. accepting , dealing rejection happens on daily basis.

actors have work @ least 1 other job @ same time auditioning, rehearsing, attending more , more classes, learning new skills, , travelling auditions. daughter professional actor, , day typically 6am 11pm - longer. has cancel weekends away or holidays @ day's notice if gets audition, can never plan see friends without being aware may have cancel. social life impossible. works 2 jobs 50 hours week on free-lance basis afford rent , bills.

if still believe happy living - go it.
if you'd find hard, go more earn living.
