yes same. supervolcano doesn't have mountain typical volcano. caldera typically collapsed volcano. if @ topographical map of area near yellowstone, can see hotspot ate away land west north american plate moved over. super volcanoes more viscous in magma rise , explode @ long intervals. yellowstone goes off once every 600 thousand years got info already.

alright know may stupid question i'm writing term paper on yellowstone supervolcano , when yellowstone caldera, these 2 same things? serious can tell me if i'm researching right thing.
