What is it like auditioning for a performing arts school?

tring difficult (like schools are) not impossible.

friend goes there @ moment (hes in final year there) , when first auditioned didn't have experience. singer quite d=good dancer , act @ time hadn't had training in he'd done school plays , took few dance lessons before auditioned it. place tring looking potential. school stepping stone, helps train can audition later on bigger schools. places laines, artsed, mountview, gsa etc. go there learn better. they're not looking perfect, because wouldnt able teach them if were. point in that?

goes without question competition in tough shouldn't let stop you. when auditioned had prepare musical theatre song , contemporary monologue, while there had take part in dance workshop.

best thing try , take classes in local area in dancing, singing , acting can build skills before audition. try , take part in shows or productions in area joining youth theatre or amateur dramatics group, bit of experience maybe?
