Do blade irons get more spin than cavity backs?

if they're same loft, no. that's thing determines spin, loft. not grooves, not head looks (grooves channel away dirt , grass; bigger or more there are, more gunk can channeled away face). catch is, cavity-backed irons billed "game improvement", stronger lofts what's considered "traditional" (ie, instead of 31*, 6i may have 28 or 29*). blades hang out around "traditional" lofts, though trend seems going away ever slowly. on technicality, cb iron may less spin blade, if equal, no, wouldn't.
