Why are American news shows so limited in their reporting?


american cable networks dont report news. show films of reporters in field dont investigate events offer superficial information , presenters in studio focus on 1 news story 2 weeks every aspect , ignore else in world. have other reporters guests purport experts , go round , round on 1 subject endlessly. awful. presenters awful , have many commercials on corporate media. watch rt since government channel , no commercials have great programming. watch al jazeeera english solid straight reporting of broadcasts u.s. have sanitized. watch france 24 , nhk , dw tv limited because have cable not satellite.

dont think cnn has resources in u.s. maybe abroad reporting of news. america opinions , chatting. format bad. dont offer full details of anything. dont think have professional training.

so far "al jazeera english" covers more news in 1 hour cnn in week. why shows covering little when have such great resources more?
