From California to Boston, what will be major differences?


major differences:

bad -
winter , cold!!!!

no need car - lots of public transportation - can walk places, although public transportation not run in wee hours of night.
huge college town - lots of young adults
crime rate pretty (of course depending on live) - places near colleges safe - still stay in groups when out @ night.



bad or good:
people - harder meet - once have friend life - more loyal less superficial
night life - ends earlier - bars/clubs must close @ 2am
huge sports town

i've been living in cali (bay area) whole life. i'd move east coast change. college student, , bad? major differences can expect? how's crime rate? active night life? info appreciated!
