Should I stay in Midtown or Historic District, Savannah GA?


me , boyfriend visiting savannah first time. 23 , 27. know nothing visit, site see, etc. staying in midtown around $150 cheaper i'm reading less convenient , not close anything.

plan on visiting tybee island, lady , sons restaurant, , forsyth park (which closer historic district). worth money???
