How do Elephants cope without tusks?


don't eat tusks, don't need them. males fight on right mate females tusks, may decide play tic-tac-toe decide winner if toothless. or may decide arm wrestling trunks.

there's type of elephant in sri lanka called sri lankan elephant, don't have tusks. but, thought elephants used tusks find piece of grub' , fight females? how these elephants cope without them?
