Do I need to pay tax on things I sell on my own website?

if earn employee under paye , turnover on website small write hmrc - tell expect turnover , profit - can adjust tax code include this.

if not employee have register self assessment (see gov.uk), keep full records, put of business transactions through business bank account , submit tax return.

income minus expenses = profit. profit minus tax allowance = taxable income. below £30'000 tax rate 20% plus national insurance contributions.

i set website , sell small handmade items, need pay tax or notify this?
