Vehicle to pull a horse and a trailer?

i'm looking @ getting first car, know once move out of town, going horse. i'd vehicle capable of pulling horse short , long distance. @ least year before part of used, i'd rather vehicle capable of getting cheap car , trading later need.

other accessories can buy , add on vehicle, should in vehicle? doesn't have truck. need 1 seat 2 4 people (so no mini vans). need reliable enough drive @ least 800 miles when move in year (it won't pulling horse or trailer @ time). has have automatic shifting.

when horse, pull him around locally. there possibility bring him college going to, 2500 miles away (still debating that, farthest pulled, , go there , back).
