Which Apple iPad is best?


i'm thinking getting apple ipad within next few months, have no idea 1 best.
use school work (word processors needed eg microsoft word, powerpoint etc), going on internet (youtube, revision sites twitter etc.) , taking few pictures.

have no idea cellular or 3g is, or difference retina display makes. don't particular size of ipad mini, it's not big deal. think need 1 32gb or 64gb. , don't know 'generation' should (i believe there 3, ipad, ipad 2 , ipad 3 ...?).

or advice appreciated, complete beginner when comes ipads , other tablets.
