My coworker is racist towards me. What should I do?


im bank teller. 1 of customer service reps , jane doe, makes offensive comments regarding religion. muslim. thinks shes being playful, racist. example, 1 morning, out branch manager decided buy breakfast day before christmas. showed work , ate @ table together. talking coworker , @ 1 point in conversation got confused talking about. @ time, jane doe, comments “don’t mind him, he’s muslim”.

instance, mail man our bank very anti-social. when comes in, speed walks table, lays mail down , speed walks out. if hello or hows going him, never respond. coworkers , try , him talk when comes in greeting him. 1 day, mail man comes in , coworkers tell me ask him how doing. refuse , “nah, see wants left alone, plus don’t want keep egging him on , have him mad , come in here , shoot place up” this, jane doe replies “yeah, because want muslim that”.

on several other instances, because im in college , new semester starts soon. jane doe asks me if im scared off meeting new college roommates. ask why should scared. says “what if they’re hardcore rednecks , ask if youre ‘from ‘round here’ haha”

other info her.. idol , person loves bill o’reilly. reads books. acts nice person tho, says she’ll miss me when im gone cause im funny. gave gift baskets christmas.
offensive. honest, kind of outcast because of now.

here catch, leave work place in 5 more work days. should leave without saying , avoid drama? don’t want these last days become extremely awkward. has 2 kids , know shes not financially comfortable. don’t want jeopardize job . should do.
