Why is my 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT leaking coolant?


bought '02 3.4l pontiac grand gt 72k miles. after 30 minute trip on interstate, returned work , found steady stream leaking green coolant. took mechanic #1, said it's lower intake manifold gasket , possibly timing cover gasket well, , quoted $1000-1200 fix.

high, took mechanic #2. did pressure test, checked hoses, water pump, lower intake, etc etc. , let run 30+ minutes pressure - , found absolutely no leaks.

while know lim gaskets notorious going bad, mechanic #2 found no leaks. there other reason why have leaked coolant? reservoir filled brim when test drove, , still filled high.
